Swaping 3.54 gears

Just curious if anyone is currently running with 3.08 gears and what it is like in terms of power empty and or towing. I have 3.54's and don't tow much of anything, and I'am looking to do something to reduce RPM's at highway speeds. Has anyone changed to a lower gear ratio and if so where did you get the crown and pinion from? Thanks in advance!
