I don't need mor power; I've got plenty! What I need is more BRAKES!

I'm lugging a 3000 pound camper in the bed, and it DIDN'T come with extra brakes!!! I'm redoing my brakes about once a year, and am only satisfied with themn for about the first month after turning and replacing. Any suggestions other than nice big PFord brakes?
