Canadian owners of 93's... Recall Pending

Hey guys, I saw a topic re: recall for throttle cable problems (93-96's) on the BD Homepage here in BC Can.I think it was so I sent an email to DOT and here's there answer as of Tues.Apr.17

....This Recall also applies to Canadian vehicles. A total of 18,000 vehicles
will be recalled in Canada.

The Recall has not yet been added to our website. Please understand that it
does take time to update the website, I do believe its about a months time(I may
be mistaken on that). You must keep in mind that everything must be reviewed by
our recall officer, registered into our database and translated into both
official languages, then put on the website.

> If your vehicle is affected by the Recall, you will receive a notice of
> defect from the manufacturer via mail. At this time, please make sure
> that your vehicle is registered under the correct owner name and address. This
> should be done by contacting DaimlerChrysler Canada at 1-800-465-2001.

Give them a call and keep your eyes peeled for your notice.
