Shut off solenoid
Hey guys, My friends 93 keeps ruining the rubber tip on pluger of the shutoff solenoid. It is on its 3rd one in less than 2 months. What I mean buy ruining is, it looks as if something is ripping the edge of the rubber causing it not to shut off. I see nothing in that can be causing this. There are no signs of metal shavings or any thing else that would lead me to believe that the pump is going south. The truck runs exellent with 210,000 mi on its 2nd pump. Any one else ever have this problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
