Air Filter Precleaner

Does anyone run a precleaner before their k&n air filter? I made my own out of some humidifier foam that is 3/8" thick but is not very dense. I wouldn't mind something a little better as I do most of my driving on gravel roads. Does K&N make one for our trucks? Having the precleaner, which is soaked in engine oil, sure cuts down on air cleaner maintenance in dusty conditions. I hope it filters better too. Just curious what some of you other guys may have done.
