Diesel Prices in Michigan

Ladies and Gents, I write with sad news. I'm sure you are all aware of increasing fuel prices on diesel, as well as the degredation of diesel quality over the last few years. Well, here is a bit more smoke for you: apparently, the all-knowing Governor Engler in Michigan will decide today to increase the tax on diesel fuel in MI by $0.04 /gallon. Doesn't sound like a lot? Figure that price into every gallon you buy for a year and then see.

Maybe I should start looking into one of those little toy hybrid cars...

Sorry for the long post, but frustration seems to be the way lately.
