Tranny mods' done..... holy cr@p !!!!!!!

Well I finally took the plunge and had the Trans. TC/VB done.
All I can say is (like others have mentioned) it's not to be believed.
**NOTE** I am not a "lock-up" system so please don't spit on my shoes
Bill and Vinnie, and Darren did the job for me and I had the Full trans., 91%TC, "Towing VB" put in.
The efficiency of this setup is astounding

I had no idea just how soft my original setup was till I turned the tires on the new one.
The day I picked it up it had been raining soooo bad they could not do final WOT test/setup.
Just like when I had the POD's put in, rain storm city.
Anyway, now I see more boost, really feel the engine work, and the truck just rockets ahead in each gear, including OD.
In fact its such a tight connection I'm a little worried about putting my camper fully loaded on. The combo really holds the revs back from a dead stop launch.
(Gonna talk to Bill about this next week.)
I find that I'm across the intersection before engine starts to hit the "power range" but then it lights out like a chetah with its arse on fire.
I put some weight on it this weekend and found that it was a bit "doggy" starting out.
I don't think I'm a slouch as far as 1st Gen uprated HP so we'll see if Bill thinks the 89% is a better choice.
Right now guys if your thinking of going with an aftermarket trans/TV/VB setup, talk to Bill.
I know, there are others in the market, and its your cash, so go for it.
All I can tell you is "I" was treated great
The work was done in good time, and I got the truck back ready to go. (aside from a few tweaks due to rain delay)
Ok, I did try ONE powerbrake (I stress ONE!) on dry pavement/empty. I brought it up to about 1200 RPM and let go, then nailed it.....
Smoked em all the way thru and including OD
I let go after about 150' since the smoke was being blown the same way as me. Rocket scientist that I am, I did it around the corner from my house, Not so bright, but what the heck.
My neighbour who was riding with me just roared and said he was gonna tell the weany next to him to sell his 5 Ltr Mustang and get a Dodge
Average boost> up 2-3 psi
I now see 115 Kph with about 150-200 less RPM than previously at 100 Kph
OD can actually be used to pull out and PASS!
Trans temps down about around town about 100*
Mileage to be announced, was 17.8 mpg around town.
Park to "D" or "R" engagement is smooth but firm and RPM drops about 175-200 RPM.

Ok, thats all for now.

Bob
