PW injector performance increase
The numbers are in!
The following 4th gear acceleration times are before/after the PW injectors and pump timing adjustment.
Both sets of numbers are the average of 3 runs at 150 feet above sea level 68-70F and about 50% RH-basically ideal conditions.
1000-2000 rpm: 7.4/6.5
1500-2500 rpm: 8.0/6.5
1000-2500 rpm: 11.9/9.5
20-50 mph : 11.0/8.7
Before I did anything to the truck, it would do the 20-50 mph run in a 12.5 seconds.
The injector change/pump timing alone made more difference than all the mods up to that point-Banks stinger plus, max diaphragm fuel rate and turned up full load fuel.
An injector change is THE ticket.
