Dana 70

I have 1990 250 with 3 speed auto and 3.01 rear end. (wierd huh?) I have Service manuals but I'm not quite sure if its a Dana 70 or what?
I bought the truck new and have always wanted to change to 3.54, but its still on the wish list.
Any thoughts?
