Sure Grip?

I'd like to put a Sure Grip unit in my Dayna 2WD rear end. I've done an 8 3/4 many times,but never a Dayna. What is involved and do you have to remove the rear end and set up the gear lash after the unit is put in? I've had a couple of times when I could use the extra traction.Thanks
