Hi/low beam switch problem...

I have had a problem since my truck was new with switching from hi beam to low in night driving - the low beams - and sometimes the hi beams when switching back - will not light, leaving me in the dark! After frantically switching back and forth a few times, the lights work normally, but oncoming drivers must be VERY puzzled...

I don't drive after dark very much, so it hasn't been a big problem, and if I switch from hi to low beam a few times before I get under way, USUALLY have no further problems - but sometimes forget, or the problem DOES resurface underway.

Anyone else have this problem, and how hard to fix or replace the switch?
