Turbo boost gauge install
I am getting ready to install both an Autometer boost and an pyro egt gauges on my '89 CTD in a dual A pillar pod. I've seen the post on the pyro sensor install but can not find anything on installing the port for the boost gauge. Does the '89 have a test port on the intake that can be used? If so where is it.
I am getting my gauges installed before I start on more modifications to the engine and a transmission swap.
This truck has 300,000 miles on it. Am I wasting my time and money rebuilding and modifing it? Or should I just sell it and go with a early 12 valve second generation CTD? I've had this truck since 1991 and would hate to see it go.
Thanks.
Jeff
