Talking Rocket Sled on Rails!

Hi Guys,

I just got done installing my set of 180 hp injectors. Oh man, what a difference The truck feels like a new 24-valve on power (or a tad bit more), but is better because it is a 1st gen. I got the set from a friendly Canadian who put about 5,000 miles on them. I am really impressed with my truck now. The injectors complement the 16 cm turbo housing well. I am at stock fuel settings on the pump and would like to keep it that way for maximum pump life. I can reach 20 pounds of boost with an empty truck and a big hill. My max pre turbo pyrometer readings were between 1050 and 1100F. My question is how much horsepower and torque is the engine putting out??? I don't really care about RWH as I have the wonder unmodified TC and 518 tranny (it will be BOMBed someday). I also have bumped the pump timing up to about 1.45 mm, have a K&N air filter, 3.5" mandrel bent straight pipe, and a 16 cm hotend on the turbo. I am just curious. It only smoked real good once and that was the first time I nailed it hard. I covered two lanes of traffic. But now I am happy to see it runs clear with a slight haze on a full throttle start. Thanks for the help as I can't wait to hear guestimates of the hp.

Jeremy
