Just Got Home With My 01 Quad Cab

Just got back from Kentucky with my slightly abused 2001 3500 4X4 Quad Cab. And a couple of things I can tell you.

1st, a 3500 2nd gen ride is not much better than a W350 1st gen.
2nd, a Stock 24V Cummins has some serious turbo lag(My 91 Cummins you push the petal and it goes NOW)
3rd, 2nd generation trucks are way too quiet, can't here the Cummins to shift gears, got to keep an eye on the tach.
4th, My Crew Cab will blow the doors off this 2nd gen(but not for long

)
So I am thinking why did I buy this thing ?
