Clutch interlock switch?

Just started yesterday. Turned key, lights come on, did not start. I pressed the clutch a few times then started. I looked at the plug- in that comes off of the clutch pedal- it looked o.k. to me? I'm really in trouble with my financial advisor (wife) because my back wheels lockup on the right side so I was going to start to replace parts for that this weekend. I'm telling her how good my truck is but she isn't believing me. Rich
