I learned a valuable lesson - never start a race on the interstate when you are doing 75mph, you defuel at 90mph and the opponent defuels somewhere above 100....

This was on I-25, going up monument hill into a headwind for those that know the area.

Dang if things were going my way for that couple of seconds it took to hit 90. But it did not take much for that Power**** to pass me and leave me in the ditch going at least 10mph faster than I was.

Gulp.

I'll stick to those races that start at lower speeds....
