92 - 93 Question

My son in law is looking for a 92 - 93 Dodge Cummins and has ask for my help. I have a 96 myself so I was wondering what kind of things he should look for when buying. Things like the KDP, is this a problem with these years? Like the fifth gear problem I had with my 96, is this a problem? Etc, etc.
If there is anyone in the Denver Co. area with a good one for sale, let me know and I'll tell him. But for the time being I'm looking for advice.
