AFC Pin! What if???

Ok, I was just thinking.

I know that don't mean a lot, but for what it's worth. Say a person took out there pin and ran without it? What ill effects would this cause? Also what if you made a pin that was straight up and down/vertical, with the radius being the same from top to bottom? Just kicking around ideas. Bill
