Contemplating the purchase of a 93 cummins five speed to build as a pulling truck. I think the truck only has 36,000 original miles and I am wanting to get like around 500-550 horsepower out of this truck on #2 only no drugs. How do I do that on a 1st generation truck. Come on guys tell me what you know. Don't hold anything back. I want power that I don't have to rely on to get me where I want to go everyday. Because things break when we are having fun. What have you all done. I currently drive a 96 dodge with around 450-500 hp in the motor currently. I want this older truck to play with on the weekends. YOu all know what I mean. Give me some ideas.
