Injection pump question(another one!)
Was looking thru my Cummins manuals and found a section that mentioned the Nippondenso pump. They said the Bosch VE and 7100 pumps were used for lower HP automotive applications while the Denso was used on the 300HP Marine engines. Now, this is from a book that was printed in 93 and is for B Engines.
Has anyone tried one of these pumps? Are they capable of being turned up for more power? The 300 HP is engine, not rear wheel HP so lots of guys are already past this level. I was just wondering what the capability of these are and can they be found?
