Gages and KDP

Getting ready to order gauges for my truck.

What are the best mfgs? I'm looking at AUTOMETER:

Tach - Will the AUTOMETER work with the factory plug? (BTW, where is it and what color wire?) Range?

EGT Range?

Boost - not sure range

Plan on mounting them on the A pillar using a two pod and a single - anybody done this on first gen?

Trans Temp to come later.

Okay, next question - do I need to worry about the KDP on this truck?
