Bombing a 4BT

Hi all,
After some discussion with the local diesel house and a couple of members of the list, I think I have a good idea of what I need to replace on my 'cooked' Cummins. Now I need to know what to look for in the way of bombs to get a little more power out of it since I'm going to be replacing the turbo and having the pump rebuilt.

That said, what injectors can I use in the engine? Will second gen injectors fit in a first gen engine and work with the VE pump?

I'm thinking of picking up a used HX-35 to replace the stock turbo but want to know how big of an injector to go with? Anyone have any thoughts?
