14cm NWG housing install

I recently took the plunge and decided to go with the 14cm NWG over the 16cm housing. Got the part from PDR, they were very helpful with all my questions. Installation was a little painful, but not too bad. I was hoping to push the exhaust system back far enough to clear the longer housing but it wouldn't work for me. My downpipe was hitting the heater box and the tranny oil cooler, so out came the sawzall. I cut out about 1" of pipe and rewelded the end back on. One tip here- go ahead and attach the loose end to the exh housing before you tack it up to the pipe. The 1st time I welded mine up I had it off at a slight angle and it wouldn't seal properly. Ended up doing it twice. Worked great the 2nd time, and I can slide the exhaust forward if I decide to put the old housing back on. I'm very happy with the 14cm and I'm glad I picked it over the 16cm. The truck now has much snappier off idle response and the boost comes on quick. I don't tow often or heavy, but I didn't notice any EGT changes with a 5k trailer and mileage has stayed the same. I highly recommend it!
