Towing with POD's and a 12cm^2 LOL!
Just thought I would broadcast some info that I would have liked to have had before I bought my POD's. First off, the load: New Holland Ls160 skid steer, tooth bucket and grapple bucket, 18' 3K lbs trailer, and skid loader and buckets approx. 6800 lbs say total 9000 lbs. My truck is a w-350 club cab with tool boxes full of junk and weighs in the high 7's. I didn't have to pull any major hills, we don't really have them here Just rolling hills, and I was able to maintain 65-70 mph, egts were scary at times 900-1200 (never sustained more then 10 seconds tops), and boost ran from 10-32 psi, but remember, I could not floor the thing due to egt probs. Nascar Mark, Piers, I will be ordering some goodies to fix that soon. Over all, I got what I expected, and after I put the 16 housing on the turbo, I will be interested to see what happens then....would love to have a port/polished head, noticed PDR promotions DOH!!!! Oh well, thanks PDR, it is great to get the stares while towing with the old truck, people just don't expect it hehehe
