Cool Well, it's not a RR exhaust but it'll have to do...

Something was rattling in my stock muffler - I swear I heard something - so it had to go. I really want a Rip Rook system but that isn't in the budget right now.

A few weeks ago someone posted a link to Air Flow Systems, and I just happened to see that they had a 3"x36" section of exhaust tubing. That started the wheels turning...but when I received the new Summit Racing catalog that had a 3" glasspack I figured it must be a sign.

It took about an hour to get the old muffler and twisty pipe cut out, and maybe fifteen minutes to bolt the new section in. The hangers took a couple minutes to fab and weld on but everything went pretty smooth. For once, a project that went according to plan and without any major problems.

It's a little louder than before but not objectionable - I normally get home from work after midnight so I didn't think the neighbors would appreciate a straight pipe.

I put a few more pics of the project in my Reader's Rigs album.
