Anyone running a Hughes torque converter?

I'm planning on swapping in a better torque converter in the (hopefully) near future. Right now I'm torn between the TCI and Hughes units - I'd love to have one from DTT but that just isn't in the budget.

I'm leaning towards the Hughes converter because they're here in Tucson...not to mention a friend can get it at a very good price.

Just want to make sure it's worth the money and a reasonable improvment over stock...which shouldn't be too hard to do.
