stuck in 4th gear

i was driving along and my transmission got stuck in 4 th gear and it will not come out. has my getrag finally took the long nap and never going to wake up or is there a simple fix?

1994 2500 Cummins, Auto trans, 4x4 boost,trans, and pyro gauge, ladder bars, pump turned all the way up, 4000 rpm spring, heavy duty intake and exhaust valve springs, 12mm head studs, laser cut delivery valves, DDP extrude honed injectors 150hp, Phat Shaft 66 turbo Goerend built transmission.
