trouble filling fuel tank

I have a 92 4wd truck. Ever since I bought it I have had trouble with fuel spitting back out of the filler neck unless I fill it slowly.
I recently installed a FASS system. And now it is worse than before.Would it help to install a vent line in the top of the Tank?
