So, getting ready to do my timing this weekend, looked at ordering the timing tool set and was given a price of $300!
Spoke with Piers, and they said to do it the Static method as opposed to the directions the TSB's give (1st plunger method). Basically pin the gear and pump, then mark damper 1/8" and rotate.
So, anyone ever done this way? Any step by step instructions just so I do not screw anything up?
Looking for 16 deg.
