My dodge dealer tell me I need to adjuste the bands in my tranny.
The truck is an 2006, diesel, 2wd with 48RE. I tow 25% of the time with 4000 pounds. With 80k miles and the tranny shifs better than ever.
Have to say I have deep trans.pan and have chanded the fluid and filter three times or every 25k miles.

What if I dont adjuste the bands, will I reduce the life of the tranny?

How do I know when the bands need adjustment?
