are 3/16"-24 & #10-24 screws the same?
title says it all. i have been using a bunch of snap toggler anchors [best out there imho for hollow wall but not cheap] that are labeled 3/16"-24. i have been using #10-24 in them and it seems to be good. i tried to find a 3/16" screw at work and the ones i found were identical to the #10's i have at work. the drill & tap poster i have on the wall show the drill size being different by 1 number [on the numerical drill size chart]
are the same?
