Had the Auto transmission service done yesterday with extra deep Mag-Hytec pan installed.
This was at a very good independent transmission shop and we had a very good visit well he was doing the work.
I had my TDR magazine along and he set down and read the article about the easy way to change the fluids at home, said it was a good article.
He told me he does as much repair work on trannies running Synthetic fluids as he does regular fluids.
It is a 4 bay shop and all were is use. All with dodges and had one setting outside. Of course not all auto trannies, some manuals also.
Most of the major transmission problem's he see's are caused by to many add on power items that the trannies are not designed handle.
On a side note is cost me right at $60.00 less than the dealer quoted me.
