The smell was horrid and reminded me of a cat converter plugged up, by the way, last week the right front tie rod end let go at 73,000 miles down at the ranch in sand and we had a walk out due to it, it was out of stock in Corpus so had to order it in from a pleasesonton texas as a complete unit, since indivural parts were not available, remember to check your tie rods, the parts man at dodge told me this was a updated part due to many failures, thanks to God it let go at the ranch and not on the highway in traffic, the end had no grease zerk on it and was full of metal sand from not being greased!!! Another lemon episode as usuall and more downtime.!!!!

This tsb was issued long ago and your dealer was negligent not tell you about or check the truck for this was it the G30 recall ? was the warranty voided at that time ?
Tie rod upgrade/replacement should have handled it during service in your region, corpus /lithua should have caught this when it sat there for 2 weeks and installed the new parts no charge. As it should have shown up in your dealer TSB service log update files.
But without the exhaust stuff does that mean you voided the warranty long ago. you never stated that in any or all your previous e mail posts...
i would be talking to my lemon attourney about all this for reparations in time and efforts and make them take the truck back but now it modified and not in epa compliance for highway use, wait the TXDOT is about to start diesel truck inspections for compliance in 2010 also.
Did you get your custom desert hauler hummer pick up truck yet ?
