My buddy broke his Dana 70 (to pieces) in his '97 and has found an entire axle with Dana 70 plus l/s out of a '93. It will be much cheaper than buying a new unit. Is this a bolt-in swap? I know it has the speed sensor; anything else he needs to look for?
Also, is the 2nd Gen Dana 80 a direct swap?
BTW, he's a TDR member but has limited internet access.
While we're at it, how much gear oil in our 70's? I'm about to change mine (every 100k or so whether it needs it or not...
).
