Dana 60 Powr-Lok clutch stack
I'm installing a Powr-Lok limited slip in my Chevy's front Dana 60. If I like it, I will do the same to my Dodge once I do the hub and inner axle conversion to get rid of the CAD and unit-bearing hubs..
I already have a used Powr-Lok unit in great shape that came with the all-steel clutch plates, not the newer fiber ones, that will fit my Chevy's 35-spline Dana 60, which I am rebuilding right now. The steel clutches are supposed to be far superior to the modern fiber ones.
Since it is for the front axle, the Powr-Lok cannot be overly aggressive and I understand that the lockup can be varied by stacking the clutch plates differently.
Does anyone here have any experience with Power-Loks and what I am wanting to do?
