At 5ppm silica you will probably never see less than that, You can get more dirt in the oil by just checking the oil or even oil itself is never 100% clean. Look at the bottom of any bottle and you will see a bit of residue.If you crack the oil fill cover off you will get microns of dirt inside also. so to think you will get below 5 ppm is a stretch.
