Trailer Brake box Question
My father in-law purchased a new 2010 1/2 ton 4x4 HEMI Ram. He really did not need a Cummins. ( I TRIED ) He discovered the trailer brake controller companies do not have the wiring ready for a "plug and play" box. he has a box from his 2002 1/2 ton Dodge, and was hoping to reuse it.
My question to everyone is this:
1. has the wiring changed since 2002/2003 ? (Trailer brake controller )
2.If not why can't the controller box be plugged in to the trucks harness ( under the dash, and above the pedals ) just like my 2002 2500 Dodge Cummins
