Front band wedge fell out -Reason for no 1 -2 shift

If you have been following along, here is what I found.
1. I dropped the trans pan to relace fluid / filter, and found the Front band wedge lying in the pan. It did not have any damage on it.
2. After talking with two trans tech's, reading the service manual, and discussing it with a few TDR members, I decided to reinstall it.
3. The band was intact ( no damage found on it ) it was still in one piece.
The drum did not have any damage or marks on it either.
4. After carefull consideration we removed the VB bolts, shift tower linkages, accumulator and very carefully held the VB while hanging by the park rod.
4. I loosened the adjustment bolt and put the wedge back into place. Torqued the bolt to proper spec, reassembled the VB.
5. Of course I adjusted the rear band also.

The trans shifts / acts just like the day I brought her home.

So after trying the TSS with no improvement, we found the problem with the WEDGE.

Crazy I know. 241840 miles.
Never adjusted the bands, till now.

Dave
P.S. If anyone would like more specific details, just PM me.
