Prime-Loc Emergency!!
As you can see in my sig, I have a 97 that had a Prime-Loc on it when I bought it...I am wanting to remove it. After taking off the adapter plate where the stock filter is supposed to be, I see that it isn't a screw-on filter hub like the Prime-Loc!! Please, please tell me that my truck isnt supposed to have that canister-type filters on it (that DC want about $400 for!). My engine tag says "8/21/96". The thing is all apart and I need to know what to do in order to leave the house at all!
