Red Brake Warning light on

The Red brake warning light has come on all by itself while driving down the road today. It had come on about a week ago while I was driving down the road, not using brakes. It went off after about 15 min last time, this time it has stayed on and I can not make it go off. Only the RED Brake Warning light is on and the Yellow ABS light is off. Brake lights work, Light is steady not flashing, checked Power steering fluid...it is good, brake fluid level is good, and combination valve is good (rod moves). I don't know what else to check. What should I look for next? Truck is a 4 wheel disk, 4 wheel abs truck build july 00. Yes 00 not 01....I can't figure it out
