Sharp bang in rear end ?

This is my first post so please bare with me . I have a 3/4 4x4 an i have this sharp banging noise in the rear of my truck when i hit any sharp bumps in the road or going over speed bumps. It only happens when i hit sharp bumps it doesn't do it on slight bumps or slight dips or the sort. This is what i have tried to figure it out, I changed the left rear overload spring cause i only hade about a 1/4 of an inch of clearance between it an the stop. (didn't help) I've loaded it up so the box sits down on all the stops for the overloads an still bangs. I've tightened all the bolts for my box an bolts to the bumper. I took my spare tire off to. I've tried everything i can think of to fix this problem to no avail. And i can't get it to do it just sitting an jumping on the bumper to get movement back there it has to be a sharp quick bump. I took it to the dodge dealer here an they heard it an told me it's functional so they won't try to do anything about it. Anyone have any problems like this? Sure could use some input here. Thanks kd4jet
