Brake lights staying on when towing
The other day I noticed my brake lights were on and I could hear the electric brakes buzzing after I towed my trailer around. I lifted the brake peddle up slightly and they went off. On my return trip, my buddy told they where staying on gain, so I had to lift the peddle slightly after I braked. I tried another trailer and had the same problem-brake lights stayed on unless I lifted the peddle. Driving around without the trailer, the brake lights shut off and there was no problem.
So why would this happen only with the trailer hooked up? What can I do to fix it?
