Waitin' for the Big Dodge

Boys, I went down to the dealer to order me a big ole 2500 H.O. LWB QC 4x4 today, and they told me they were having trouble ordering, a hold or something with the six-speeds. Does anybody know what's happenin? He said it could be 10-12 weeks before I saw one, and it sounded like they were in such demand that the price was going to be hard to come off of. The thing that suprised me was that he even suggested I may try to check other dealerships, cause even if he found one they wouldn't want to part with it to him. So am I really looking at 12+ here? I mean he said he could order one Monday if I wanted. I've heard the dealer was a good one, and I don't think they're giving me a bunch of BS,...maybe, I don't know. If I gotta wait though, I gotta wait. Not gonna go down the chevy path for that IFS junk, it leaves something to be desired.
