ford to dodge conversion/dana 60 axle

my ctd is a 1999 3500 , with a dana 60 front axle 4 wheel drive,with abs , has any one heard of changing the front hubs from a ford f350 and putting them on dodge dana 60s .i want to do this conversion so that i can better handle the maintanance of the hub bearings etc. also manually locking the front hubs probable would save fuel.??? any info would be appreciated ,thanks
