285-75-16 spare tire??

Been running my 285s for a while now. Love em. But, on my way down to Nashville, TN this week..got to thinking. What would happen if I got a flat? Having the rear anti-slip, its out of the question back there to install the smaller 245 spare. On front, wouldn't it have a hard pull to the side with the tire? Is it managable enough to drive until you can get the 285 fixed?

I've tried to install a 285 as a spare... didn't work very well. I don't know what to do.
