I must be missing something and too late. The e-bay links are closed and the part numbers don't work and on auto parts warehouse all they have are left sides listed.

Billvo,
Use can use the left side on the right. They are interchangeable.
Just kidding man.
Get the phone number off of the ebay site and try to call them. They order the mirrors pretty often because they go through them real quick. When they order them it is an order of 40 sets at a time.
Good luck,
Ed

Thanks JGK for those numbers...I put them on and well they still vibrate. The drivers side seems a little better but the passenger side seems the same or worse. I have tried loosening the nuts, tightening them and i get the same result. I could swear it also sounds like there is a air leak. I am not quite sure what to do now. Maybe I have over looked something. I like these mirrors a lot, they look really good. Any help would be much appreciated.

This might not help you, but did you have a foam gasket for the mirrors? When I bought my new non-power mirrors from the dealer, it came with new gaskets. Just a thought, since these Kool Vues didn't have the reinforcement brackets.

I just installed a set of Kool-Vue power heated towing mirrors on my '96. I've tried to put all the information, schematics, part numbers, and what to do information on my web site: Dodge Ram - Towing Mirror Upgrade Information - '94 to '06
That's better than having to go through 200 postings to get the information. If folks have suggestions, email me and I'll update my web page.

I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to install the switch. Does the fat part of the joy stick come off to thread it the the hole?

Towing Mirror Wiring
For those of you like me that did not want to cut the pigtails and splice the connectors. I removed the pins out of the mirrior connectors (you must remove the small pin lock piece then use a screwdriver to release the retaining clip) and then slip them over the pins in the factory connector, they are a tight fit and may need to be opened up with a small screwdriver. I used some locktite after they were pressed on the pins. This worked great and saved me from cutting and splicing.

Nevermind, i figured it out,
I cut the snaplock and when i cut it the spring came FLYING out!!!
Heres what We found out,
when the mirror was hit it got pushed back farther than it should and knocked one of the 3 bearings out of place, so put it back in place, put some grease in there and replaced the snaplock with a snapring.
NOW the only hard part was the fact that we had to compress the spring and it sure is a strong one, So we compressed it in the vise and put mechanics wire around it to keep it compressed, installed the spring and reasembled the mirror and cut the wire and DONE!!!

Mine are finally installed, I'm not driving the truck everyday as I bought a Honda Insight to drive back & forth to work due to fuel costs. Anyway, I keep blowing IOD 10 amp fuses. I unplugged the left and then the right, and then the switch. The fuse doesn't blow with the sitch unplugged. I had some insulation between the switch and the ntu/bolt for the mirror. If I get a new switch, will that fix my problem or will I need to Dremel the nut/bolt? I did try a 20 amp fuse and took the switch out of it's location and just held it, the mirrirs would not adjust up & down only side to side..
