seat belt alarm and light

anyone ever had to replace the seat belt alarm timer....the belt buzzer stays on and the light of course...it has a timer in the fuse box but the manual does not really indicate if it can be replaced....i would think it could...probably one of those 24K gold D/C items... thanks in advance
