Worked on heater now truck wont start

Well pulled the dash back to work on the heater blend door now truck wont start. CIL light is on gauges all read 0. Fuel guage says empty but its not. Tried to check with scanner but it says there is no connection. At one time I'm sure I seen NO BUS where the codes would be. No visible connections apart. Any ideas before I take everything back apart???
