Dually Bed And Body Removal ?

The more I work under my 98, the more the rusty undercarriage grates on me.
The body seems to be in pretty good shape ( some surface rust), but the frame, the suspension, drive-train, etc, are all rusty and pitted. Especially at the frame welds, and drive-lines, u-joints, etc.
IMO, it looks like the only right way to fix this, is to lift off the bed and body, sand blast all the rust off, then apply some type of rust-stop, then some HD undercarriage paint. (I did a search on this, and it looks like there are some really good products for rust problems like this.)
I'm going to have access to a lift for a few days, but but my question is, how much trouble will it be to lift the cab off? (I'm not concerned about removing the bed.) I've never taken a cab or body off a frame.
Any advice or direction you guys can give me on this, would be much appreciated.
Ray
