2001 Vs 2001.5

I know the main differance between what we refer to as 2001 and 2001.5, is based on if it has four wheel disk brakes. My question is this when did they make the switch to the 2500 models.
My 2500 was made in Mexico in Jan., 2001 and it has the 4 wheel disk brakes. Is this then a 2001.5 or are the disk brakes because of the 4 wheel ABS.
